2011 Winners
The 2011 season was once again marked with triple crown winner in the 30+ division as we as a repeat winner in the 45+ division championship.
Jensen Law Clinches Triple Crown
Congratulations to Jensen Law for capturing the Playoff Championship this past October 1 weekend. With the win, Jensen matches Outland’s feat of 2010 by winning the President’s Cup, the regular season and the Playoff Championship this year.
Mortgage Intelligence won the B Championship final over Oops Cafe. Congratulations to Mortgage Intelligence for this win and to Oops Cafe for making the B Final in their inaugural season. Oops Cafe also won this year’s award for Most Sportsmanlike team.
On the individual side, Eric Davis (Jensen Law) was named Playoff MVP. John Ramsay (Piva Financial) won this year’s Golden Boot for Top Scorer in the regular season. Glenn Douglas (Jensen Law) was shutout leader.
Excel United FC wins 45+ Division Playoff Championship
The 45+ Division Playoff Championship was held over the September 24 & 25 weekend. In a hard fought battle between Duffy’s Pub and Excel United, Mark McDaniel tallied in extra time to give Excel a narrow 1-0 win and a third straight division title. Congratulations to Excel’s Carlo Beltrano – this year’s 45+ playoff MVP.
In the B Championship, BC Rivers bested SBE-Kamcon to take the consolation. SBE-Kamcon’s Todd Wiseman clinched the 45+ Golden Boot award for Top Scorer in the regular season and Peter Hack finished a top the shutout leaders.
